Tutoring, mentoring & careers

Recruiters: the first section is for full-time engineering opportunities. Tutoring & mentoring for students and applicants is below.

Full-time engineering (recruiters)
Open to hire

I am looking for full-time software / robotics / mechatronics engineering roles where I can contribute across simulation, learning-based control, embedded systems, and integration with real hardware. My background combines a Master of Computer Science (UMass Amherst), a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (HCMUT), hands-on robot projects, and co-authored research - see the Projects page for representative work.

  • Strengths: Reinforcement learning and locomotion, simulation (e.g. Isaac Lab-class stacks), perception and control, C++/Python, ROS-style pipelines, and bringing systems from prototype to reliable demos.
  • What I want: Roles with ownership of software, controls, or full-stack robotics - teams that ship to hardware and care about rigor and safety.
Potential startup collaboration

If you have an interesting idea or an early-stage venture and want a collaborator or sounding board, I am open to a conversation. The domain does not need to match my projects exactly; if it is compelling, reach out and we can assess fit.

Tutoring & mentoring

For students and applicants. Details are indicative - each engagement is tailored after we align on your situation.

Academic tutoring

Math, computer science, and programming - foundations through upper‑level coursework. Test prep (e.g. SAT Math) and project help when you need structure and accountability.

  • Duration: Flexible
  • Level: Middle school to university
  • Format: 1:1 or small group, online or in‑person
  • Prerequisites: None - we align to your course or goals
Scholarship & study abroad

One place for competitive funding and international programs: finding scholarships and fellowships, shaping essays and CVs, planning deadlines, and - when you are aiming overseas - shortlisting schools, application narratives, tests and documents, and practical prep before you go.

  • Duration: Often one full application cycle; scholarships may run on separate timelines
  • Level: Undergraduate and graduate applicants
  • Format: Primarily online
  • Prerequisites: Rough sense of degree path and region (or funding need) is enough to start
Custom 1:1

If your needs span multiple areas or need a bespoke plan, we can co‑design a short series of sessions around a concrete outcome - project, application, or skill gap.

  • Duration: Flexible
  • Level: Beginner to advanced
  • Format: Online or in‑person
  • Prerequisites: A short intro call to scope goals
